Atom Bomb
Atom Bomb
During the beginning of WWII many new innovative technologies were built. Among all of the technologies the atom bomb was indeed the most important. It began in Germany and was completed by the US. The starting point of the war for Americans was Pearl Harbor. Japan at that time began to conquer over the pacific. They wanted to see if they could conquer more land which would lead them to the state of Hawaii in Pearl Harbor. They had landed a surprise attack with jets as a suicide mission, it brought upon many destruction and madness throughout the United States. Many dedicated solders died that day and it’s a shame that they did not have the proper burial place. This had started US to start to construct a way to find out how to end the war.

New York Times Review
New York Times:SETH SCHIESEL says "I have only recently come to one of the most popular shooters of recent months, Call of Duty: World at War, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. As enjoyable and fun as World at War most certainly is, its most impressive element is how mindfully the game balances the requisite moral imperative with a frank and at times merciless acknowledgment of war’s brutality."

About.com Review
About.com says "After a refreshing trip into Modern Warfare with COD4, the Call of Duty series has returned to World War II. I know, I know, you can barely contain your excitement at that news. But at least World At War showcases two campaigns in WWII that haven’t gotten nearly as much attention as other theaters in the war, so it isn’t so bad. You get a first hand look at the island hopping battles in the Pacific between the Americans and Japanese as well as the Russians’ push to drive the Nazis back into Germany from the East. The game is absolutely brutal, and even though we already know war is pure Hell, World At War really goes all out to push your emotional buttons. It is a wild ride of horror and shock and joy and happiness that is well worth the price of admission."
